14 g mild steel helmet.
12g mild steel bretache.
1/4" bar stock for the grill.
homemade tube vervailes, 16g.
16g tie wire, with 22g brass wire, twisted to hold on the aventail.

repurposed brass kickplates for the trim.
boatloads of 1/8" shank brass rivets.
chrometanned leather dags and straps.
Rather ambitious project on my part. As close to a full harness as I've made in a long long time.

A lot of people think, "Well I learned how to do this..." Thing is, we all have to learn a skill. It takes talent to know how to judge certain things for yourself, though.
